Automation Test Engineer

* Collaborate with system engineers and development groups to integrate product and sub-system deliveries into large scale systems. * Conduct system level testing, collect and analyze test results. * Support the execution of test cases during the requirements verification process. * Produce quality documentation as needed to support these activitie

**Required Skills:** * At least three (3) years of direct experience with an intelligence community or signals intelligent activity. * Minimum five (5) years of experience in testing through a full system development life cycle including requirements definition, design, development, integration, test, validation and verification. * Minimum five (5) years of experience developing and enhancing test plans and procedures that define test strategies and test coverage. * Experience developing test cases from requirements documentation. * Experience with Linux/Solaris. * Experience writing scripts (examples: Ruby, Bash, shell scripting, PERL, Python, etc.). * Experience with XML. * Experience with unit testing tools. * Experience using automated test tools and related CASE applications such as Jenkins, RSpec, Rational ClearQuest, WinRunner, etc. * Experience with software management systems (examples: ClearCase, ClearQuest, Redmine, Rally, JIRA, etc.) * Experience documenting test results for corrective actions, reporting and audits. * Experience interacting with databases (examples: Oracle, Sybase, MongoDB, MySQL, etc.). * Solid understanding of networking technology, TCP/IP and common internet application protocols. * Able to work effectively in a dynamic, fast paced, agile environment. * Good communication skills. * Experience producing quality documentation. **Desired Skills:** * Experience with Java, C++ * Experience with SOLARIS and/or LINUX, and Windows system programming is highly desired. * Certification in Software Testing (ISTQB, IIST or others) is highly desired. * Working knowledge of and skills in the use of automated test tools and related CASE applications such as Rational TeamTest, Rational ClearQuest, WinRunner, etc. * Experience using various virtualization techniques and environments – ESX, VMWare, Docker. * Software development experience is a plus. * Experience with at least a 6 of the following: * Test automation development or other demonstrated development experience * Performance / load / stress testing * System optimization techniques * Data interface testing * Data migration testing * User interface testing * Security testing * Regression testing * Formal requirements verification testing * Systems integration testing * Data flow testing and analysis * Web server, OS, and SQL database setup and administration * Webservices (SOAP, REST) * **Degree:** Bachelor's degree in Math, Science, Engineering, Statistics, Engineering Management, or related discipline from an accredited college or university is required. Four (4) years of T&E experience may be substituted for a bachelor's degree. * **Clearance:** Positions require a Top Secret security clearance, based on current background investigation (SBI), as well as the favorable completion of polygraph. Clearance and polygraph processing will be completed by the U.S. Government.
