Mobile QA Engineer

EBates is expanding rapidly and looking for a talented Mobile QA Engineer to join our team. The Mobile QA Engineer should be a motivated individual who is eager to learn new technologies and has the ability and attitude to expand his/her role to assume more responsibilities as you grow with the company.

* The ideal candidate will have 4+ years (2+ yrs. mobile) of experience testing or writing client software. With a deep understanding of automation frameworks, tools, scripting, and test methodologies for distributed software, the Mobile QA Engineer will be primarily responsible for designing and implementing integration and testing automation infrastructure for our mobile software. * Additionally, you will also help with planning, scoping, automating, and executing tests across multiple mobile platforms. Testing will include design review, API testing, functional validation, error handling, and performance testing, as well as test automation. * You must be able to communicate effectively with developers for the purposes of understanding design goals as well as providing appropriate feedback in the form of bug reports.

* BS in Computer Science or related field * 4+ years of experience in QA/Software Engineering * 2+ years of Mobile Testing/Development experience * Ability to code in Objective-C and/or Java * Knowledge of mobile testing frameworks Working knowledge of a variety of Unix/Linux * Proven ability to meet deadlines **Preferred:** * Experience with scripting languages (i.e. Bash, Python, Perl, etc.)") Experience working in an Agile environment * Basic understanding of SQL * Knowledge of RESTful API
