Summary
CACI is pleased to announce we are seeking a Senior Application Developer to be located in Quantico, VA. The candidate will develop, code, test, and debug SharePoint applications and web applications. May be involved in the development of software user manuals and software demonstrations. The ideal candidate will also possess a good understanding of business applications.
Responsibilities
- Perform application development on the SharePoint 2013 platform. - Provide software support and assist with maintaining and implementing new functionality, taxonomy, content classification, lists, libraries, and Web parts. - Analyze technologies, technical processes and/or functions; document findings, identifying areas for improvement and create specifications to implement. - Determine specific system requirements and develop standards and guidelines. - Review departmental objectives, assess their functional needs and translate the documentation into technical requirements. - Develop new functionality on our existing software products. - Design and develop web parts, forms, MS Office integration applications, workflows, page templates, FAST search scopes, SharePoint Apps and web services. - Perform site branding. - Utilize native SharePoint components in the development process. - Create connections to systems allowing the display of dashboards and KPls using components such as Excel, SQL Reporting Service, etc. - Gather functional and technical requirements from stakeholders and technical users in order to plan releases and updates. - Evaluate code to ensure that it is valid, properly structured, meets industry standards and is compatible with browsers, devices, or operating systems. - Provide recommendations for improvements to site architecture, design, and functionality. - Manage a bug tracking system and prioritize changes with business stakeholders. - Configure collaboration sites and forms authentication for staff access. - Manage user access controls and security permissions for SharePoint 2013 or higher. - Assist with user acceptance testing and the preparation of user manuals and training for Share Point2013 or higher applications. - Assist with web initiatives troubleshoot and debug applications that occur outside the regular release cycle. - Other tasks as deemed necessary by the Task Lead or designated Government representative
Ideal Candidate
- Must have Secret SSBI; Will hold up to Active Top Secret Clearance. - Bachelor Degree or equivalent plus 7 - 9 years professional experience - Minimum five years development experience preferred. - Experience in application development. - Experience in one or more of the following languages: C#, JavaScript, HTML, CSS, jQuery. - Experience with web design. - Experience with application architecture and information management - Must have a good understanding of business requirements and IT strategies - Ability to adapt quickly to an existing, complex environment. **Desired Qualifications:** - Experience in SharePoint development in SharePoint 2010 or higher, to include: e xperience in building and supporting all aspects of Share Point including sites, site collections, master pages & templates, web parts, content types & policies, lists, libraries, workflows, forms authentication, security groups and customizations. - Experience using SharePoint for document management and website publishing - Experience with SSRS, SSIS, Power Pivot, Power Shell, Power View and Power Bl - SharePoint Certifications preferred, specifically: Microsoft Certified Technical Specialist (MCTS) for SharePoint, Application Development and/or Microsoft Certified Technical Specialist (MCTS) for SharePoint. - Experience with of design and code Web-based applications in a .NET environment - Experience with .NET 4.0+ Framework, including Visual Studio 2012, C#, ASP.NET, ADO.Net, jQuery, JavaScript, HTML and CSS - Experience with AngularJS
