Summary
Northrop Grumman Technology Services is seeking a .Net/C# Developer to join our team of qualified, diverse individuals in transforming the future of technology and public health. This position will be located in Melbourne, FL and will become part of Northrop Grumman’s team that supports the Veterans Administration goal of creating an environment that will empower Veterans to become an active participant in the management of their own health care as well as their caregivers.
Responsibilities
The Software Development Analyst works as a member of an Agile scrum team designing, developing and implementing user-friendly, high-quality home telehealth applications for Veterans. * Perform design analysis, application design, software development. * Perform software development using agile scrum methodology. * Perform unit testing * Involved in planning of system and development deployment as well as responsible for performing analysis to identify if applications meet software compliance standards * Systems Integration test support * Provide processing support for compliance and field-testing.
Ideal Candidate
**Basic Qualifications:** * 2 years experience in software development using the following tools and operating environments: * ASP.NET, C# * Visual Studio 2012 and up * SQL * IIS 7 and up * Windows Server 2008 and up * HTML * CSS * jQuery * Windows PowerShell * Windows service development experience * XML * Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field with a minimum of 5 years of experience. * 2 years of experience devising or modifying procedures to solve complex problems considering computer equipment capacity and limitations, operating time, and form of desired results. * 2 years of experience working with project managers, developers, and end users to ensure application designs meet business requirements. * 2 years of experience formulating/defining specifications for complex operating software programming applications or modifying/maintaining complex existing applications using engineering releases and utilities from the manufacturer. * 2 years of experience researching, designing, developing, and/or modifying enterprise-wide systems and/or applications software. * 2 years of experience involved in planning of system and development deployment as well as responsible for meeting software compliance standards. * 2 years of experience evaluating interface between hardware and software, operational requirements, and characteristics of overall system. * Ability to obtain and maintain a Position of Public Trust Clearance is required. * Proficient written and verbal communication skills. **Preferred skills:** * Experience in secure coding techniques * HL7 knowledge * Experience with VA Application development and deployment methodologies, environments and frameworks * Active VA Clearance
