Responsibilities
Responsibilities - Oversee the development and maintenance of allocation strategies and targets for the retail and digital divisions of product, with a focus on timely and accurate deliveries that support the company’s financial targets and inventory turns. Managing 4 countries (US, Canada, Mexico & Brazil). Pre-Season Management - Set strategic direction to affect size imbalance per store while protecting and driving business. - Influence seasonal buying decisions based on out of stock performance, Make recommendations to the Planning and Buying teams on product receipt needs to ensure that sales are maximized in all store locations - Communicate Allocation strategy for New Floor Sets (size, options) and ensure all monthly floor sets are delivered within set parameters (i.e. receipt by the first week of each month), communicate any delivery issues which may affect this plan back to Buying and Planning - Establish ideal and max inventory levels by store and Digital in units and option, which ties to the Plans. - Improve consolidation process and partner with Merchants to utilize Plans for Option targets. - Communicate and align on Min Levels with Merchants and Planners for Fashion and Replenishment product. - Implement Flow Forecast and communicate impact to cross-functional business partners for each new floor set and consolidation process. Work with the Supply Chain to prioritise and manage inventory into and through the HUB and work with them to troubleshoot any issues and meet fashion trend needs that arise on a day-to-day basis. Responsible for managing the flow of merchandise from the distribution center to the stores. - Analyze GSR historical data and current trends to identify risk and opportunities by L2/L3/L4/L5 and SKU at the store level and share these findings with Merchants, Planning and Regional Directors. In-Season Management - Oversee Weekly Store performance, consolidation and floor set launches to Operations, Logistic, Merchandising and Regional Directors - Review Initial Digital allocation quantities to maintain high digital in-stocks - Partner with Merchandising, Visual and Planning teams to ensure that all monthly consolidations are completed through the transfer process on time and ahead of the new floor set delivery to stores - Direct and guide merchandise analysis at a store and season level to inform and guide decision making, including weekly analysis and insights into product and store sales performance and make recommendations on initial PARs and store distribution - Develop and maintain strong relationships with Regional/District and Store Management and the Operational team organisation - Oversee analysis for store volume, size and geographic location to ensure financial success by meeting or exceeding sales and inventory turn goals - Guide teams to adequately stock stores with appropriate assortments to meet model stock plans as well as sales and inventory turn goals - Communicate GSR replenishment changes (i.e. Mins, size ratios, store sell through etc) to cross functional team to maximize productivity. People Management - Create opportunities for key talent in allocation and establish and environment that fosters collaboration to create a first in class allocation team.
Ideal Candidate
Profile - 3 - 5 years of Allocations experience - Planning experience preferred from a luxury retail environment - BA or BS degree required
