Summary
Provide social media and virtual outreach support to senior level managers within the intelligence community (IC). Partner with internal components for the furtherance of social media, Web site, and virtual outreach endeavors.
Responsibilities
* Monitor and participate in a wide range of internal social media activities using a variety of technologies. * Post and comment on various platforms, develop and publish original content, and grow the online communities. * Facilitate demos and trainings of client-provided tools across the IC to all interested analysts, analytic elements, and analytic outreach coordinators for tool promotion.
Ideal Candidate
**Basic Qualifications:** * 5+ years of experience with strategic communications. * 1+ years of experience in working with the intelligence community. * Experience with Microsoft Office suite. * Experience with developing content and messaging for media tools and online communities, including forums and blogs. * Knowledge of major social media channels, including Facebook, YouTube, Twitter, and Google+. * Ability to create original content for news, articles, Web, and other marketing and collateral pieces. * Ability to concurrently support multiple initiatives balancing resources and time to meet iterative requirements and changing priorities. * TS/SCI clearance with a polygraph. * BA or BS degree or 4 years of experience with strategic communications. **Additional Qualifications:** * 3+ years of experience in working with the intelligence community. * Knowledge of IC research tools and databases. * Knowledge of the IC's structure and IC member organizations' roles and capabilities. * Possession of excellent written communication skills. * Possession of excellent grammatical skills.
