BookBub is a free service that helps millions of readers discover great deals on acclaimed ebooks while providing publishers and authors with a way to drive sales and find new fans.

In this role, you will choose the book deals that are promoted in BookBub’s email from as many as 300 submissions sent in each day by our publisher and author partners, using data and industry knowledge to connect subscribers to deals that they will enjoy and be excited about. * Selecting books from our publisher and author partners that are appealing to the BookBub audience * Writing captivating ad copy that accompanies each book deal * Editing ad copy that comes in from out-of-house freelancers * Proofreading the daily email before it is sent to our millions of subscribers * Guiding editorial team decisions based on knowledge of readers' tastes, publishing trends, and internal data * Assessing trends and data in assigned book categories

* 1–3 years of experience in publishing or book selling * A Bachelor's degree from an accredited college * Experience with and knowledge about books and authors * Outstanding professional written and verbal communication skills * Strong analytical skills and meticulous attention to detail * Excitement for a fast-paced, rapidly changing start-up environment where work can occasionally get chaotic and be required at off hours (occasional weekends and holidays)
