Summary
We are looking for a Technical Writer (Brake Control Algorithm) for one one of our prestigious clients in MI area, This is a tier one automotive supplier company which offers an opportunity to work on exciting new and advanced technologies. In this role you will be helping the organization by creating and managing high quality technical and business documents. You will be responsible for creating the documents on the basis of the algorithm engineers’ designs descriptions.
Responsibilities
* Design, proofread and edit the documents as per the requirements with precise and concise requirements and specifications or Architectural design and interface specification. * Record and document procedures, standards and user manuals related documents specific to the algorithm group’s tasks following engineer's work description. * Write and record document related to algorithm development, configuration and release procedures. * Build training materials on the basis of the training sessions. * Write invention disclosures on the basis of the engineers’ patentable designs descriptions. * Help team members and management in building presentations. * Keep the defined formatting for the technical documents such as format, grammar, spelling etc. * Research on interpretation, formatting and publishing of information. * Collaborate with various teams and management to understand the technical concepts, documentation requirements, and documentation schedules/milestones.
Ideal Candidate
* Bachelor degree, Masters preferred. * Experience in technical writing, proofreading, editing and creating tables. A background in patent evaluation is a plus. * Experience in an engineering environment will be preferred. * Japanese skill is a plus. * Occasionally travel including remote test sites in the winter may require for the purpose of understanding the document stuff.
Compensation and Working Conditions
Hourly Pay $30 - $45
