Summary
As Vice President of Channel Strategy, you will lead a Channel Sales organization for the leading Payment Cycle Management provider. You will manage referral, reseller and OEM partners, while designing and executing a global channel sales strategy that influences new software bookings for Billtrust while achieving annual channel revenue targets.
Responsibilities
* Guide and manage the activities of the channel sales team to ensure that revenue goals and objectives are achieved * Partner with enterprise sales leaders to influence incremental revenue directly and through the channel * Establish and execute a global indirect distribution strategy * Architect partnership terms and structure to drive mutual value and success * Coordinate and manage sales forecasts, team pipeline reviews, QBRs, and closed deals to ensure quarterly/annual quota targets are achieved * Attract, hire, onboard, and retain top talent * Drive processes to ensure the highest levels of client satisfaction where the channel has active or critical presence
Ideal Candidate
* Proven success in enterprise software sales in both direct and indirect environments – 15+ years of relevant, progressive experience * Demonstrated track record of leading sales teams to meet and exceed assigned revenue targets * Experience in a Software-as-a-Service (SaaS), software or product-centric business required; Experience in the Payments and/or Accounts Receivables (AR) space strongly preferred * Track record of meeting and exceeding revenue targets in complex sales environments, both as an individual contributor and as a sales leader * Prior experience in significantly scaling revenue in a high-growth organization focused on acquisition of new customers * Strong ability to grow C-level relationships with regional and global Systems Integrators (SI) and customers * Global/International operational experience nice-to-have * Entrepreneurial mindset and a results-driven attitude * Ability to collaborate cross-functionally, and work well in a team-oriented environment * Strong written and verbal communication skills, presentation skills and organization skills * Willingness to travel up to 50%
