Responsibilities
* Monitor and manage daily securities and cash reconciliations, and 15c3-1 and 15c3-3 compliance generally * Ensure timely processing of all customer-level and firm-level financial transactions * Enhance and implement processes for handling and tracking customer requests, including in-kind transfers and rollovers * Oversee day-to-day AML, KYC and SAR processes, and constantly enhance and streamline these processes, as appropriate * Provide support, and eventually manage regulatory exams * Ultimate point of escalation and resolution for all B/D-related operational issues * Work with operations product managers and with engineering to constantly improve and automate all of our processes, with state-of-the-art technology * Continually monitor operational capacity and keep management alert to hiring needs of the operations team
Ideal Candidate
* Bachelor’s degree in finance, economics, or related field. A passion for investing and a broad knowledge of the securities industry * Minimum of 4 years brokerage industry experience. Extensive familiarity with SEA Rules 15c3-1 and 15c3-3 * An affinity for constant improvement of operations via technology and automation, all while maintaining airtight internal controls * Deep focus on exceptional customer experience * Experience with external and internal audits * Extremely detail-oriented, with superior multitasking skills * Analytical prowess / Excel skills / exceedingly sharp with numbers * Ability to draft clear policies and procedures. A healthy obsession with compliance
