Revenue Accountant

Quantcast is seeking a Revenue Accountant with strong comprehension of revenue recognition in the online environment. They will apply this experience to ensure that bookings meet all revenue recognition criteria in addition to adhering to internal policies and procedures. As a critical member of the accounting team, we expect this position to grow along with the company.

* Month end close procedures including invoicing and fulfillment, preparation of journal entries, reconciliations, and other duties as necessary * Contract review to ensure compliance with GAAP and internal policies * Work cross-functionally to understand business models and implement finance processes to support our internal partners * Develop, and build upon, existing processes to allow finance to scale with the business * Fulfillment of internal and external audit requests * Partner with Finance and Sales teams to research customer queries/issues and coordinate resolution * Educate internal customers as to company policies and processes * Report and account for customer rebate agreements with a view to streamlining the process

* Bachelor’s Degree in accounting, finance or related field, and CPA or equivalent qualification * Experience in the online/digital media industry is an advantage * Familiarity with SOX compliance * Experience with Oracle and Salesforce is preferred * Strong technical and analytical skills * Proficiency in MS Excel (logical/reference formulas, pivot tables, etc. * Attention to detail/well organized * Ability to effectively operate with flexibility in a fast-paced, constantly evolving, team environment * Self-starter, project executor, quickly grasps tasks, and requires minimal supervision * Background in digital advertising is a plus
