Summary
We are seeking a highly motivated individual who will assist with performing financial analysis and site inspections for the portfolio, monitoring properties’ financial and physical condition for elevated risk situations and take appropriate actions to communicate such risks. This candidate will be able to provide quality, efficient services in accordance with investor requirements, provide top quality and efficient service to borrowers as well as to other departments within the company and ensure that practices, policies and procedures maximize the effective and efficient use of technology and staff resources. The position will be located in Boston, MA.
Responsibilities
* Participate in the quality review of Berkeley Point databases and reporting tools * Assist in the development and maintenance of proprietary reports * Provide support with compliance related matters – financial statement processing, inspection receipt and processing, database management, etc * Assist in the coordination of internal and external audits of department operations * Review financial statements within the assigned portfolio, provide timely reporting to investors/ master servicers and senior management * Assess and assign risk designations on loans within the assigned portfolio * Communicate extraordinary /significant risk issues to senior management * Prepare and recommend action plans for potential problem loans * Recommend transfer of problem loans to Loss Mitigation group * Monitor Borrower compliance with loan documents, take appropriate enforcement actions when and as necessary * Communicate with underwriting regarding borrower/property/market performance
Ideal Candidate
**Core Competencies:** * Highly-developed analytical, research, and written/oral presentation skills * Ability to problem-solve and exercise independent judgment while displaying a high degree of initiative and accuracy. * Demonstrate ability to organize and prioritize projects; complete multiple tasks on schedule. * Ability to work productively under minimal supervision. * Must be proficient in Excel, Word, and Microsoft Office. * Strong work ethic and pro-active team player, able to work effectively under sometimes stressful conditions **Qualifications:** * Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Economics, Real Estate or other related fields * Able to travel a minimum of 10-20% * GSE experience a plus
