Summary
Role is a Senior Financial Analyst – FP&A, primarily responsible for supporting the Firm’s Global Technology Solutions Function (~$250 million Budget) with all aspects of financial reporting, budgeting, and analytical efforts. Role will support the Director, Financial Planning & Analysis in the continued development of best practices to identify opportunities and mitigate risks associated with a Global Technology organization undergoing significant change in a rapidly growing environment. The role will coordinate with the Global IT organization and finance teams around the world to understand and analyze consolidated financials for strategic planning, budgeting, forecasting and reporting of actual results.
Responsibilities
* Provides key support to the annual budgeting and periodic forecasting to the CFO and CIO of organization, including coordination with regional finance teams to ensure accurate and consistent support is provided. * Identify risks and opportunities to company operations and financial results based on changing Technology priorities. * Supports process improvements and strategic initiatives within sub-functional area. Proven ability to analyze business process and provide suggestions for improvement. * Oversee outside consultant to track, validate and report on IT synergies throughout various strategic initiatives. * Provide in-depth analysis on Global Technology performance to Corporate Finance for month end reporting purposes, including outlining opportunities and risks associated with current activities. * Work closely with IT Strategy & Planning team to develop a consistent and accurate headcount reporting and budgeting process. * Interact with various other corporate functions i.e. Procurement, Treasury, Tax, Accounting, Legal & HR to enable process improvements for IT and help develop best practices. * Role will develop into supporting other corporate level expenses, including Marketing, Research, Human resources, compensation, etc.
Ideal Candidate
**Experience:** * 3 – 6 years’ experience in Financial Planning and Analysis, reporting and decision support * Demonstrated success in leading and delivering solutions to complex business opportunities * Hyperion Financial Management / Essbase a plus * IT finance knowledge a plus **Skills / Abilities:** * Must be self-driven and very motivated. * Excellent writing and communication skills are required. * Strong teamwork ethic, positive proactive flexible attitude ability to take complete ownership of responsibilities. * Ability to work under pressure and time constraints as well as handle a number of tasks simultaneously required. * Advanced skillset in Microsoft Office including Excel, PowerPoint, Word, and related software applications
