Senior Financial Analyst - Global Operations

This position will be involved in decision support, planning, and reporting activities for Global Operations.

* Support planning and reporting exercises in a matrixed and global organization. This includes running monthly and ad hoc reports to analyze transactional details and research variance drivers. * Support Cognos-based financial system design and maintenance; ERP financial design; and ensure financial data integrity and system reconciliations. * Assist in preparation of budgets, long range plans, and quarterly forecasts to support timelines communicated by finance. This includes the oversight of the process and coordination/consolidation of global locations and functional areas. * Work closely with business partners to understand budget/forecast requirements and provide overview and recommendations as necessary. Drive behavior around financial responsibility across the organization. * Support Global Operations headcount reporting. Collaborate with partners to determine correct employee mapping and planning activities. * Partner with Global Financial Planning, Network, and Plant Finance teams to drive innovation initiatives around business intelligence and focused Operational strategic initiatives and priorities.

* Strong business acumen and ability to manage multiple projects. * Strong analytical skills, decision-making capabilities and knowledge of GAAP accounting principles. * Ability to effectively influence and drive consensus across Global cross functional teams and can interact with all levels of management. * Strong negotiation, interpersonal communication, collaboration, and presentation skills. * Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Office applications (Excel, PowerPoint) as well as experience with JDE and COGNOS. * • Ability to generate ideas, develop alternatives, rapidly decide upon best course of action and drive implementation of that decision. * Key Finance Competencies * Business Performance Management * Financial Analysis and Decision Support * Business Process and Data Management * Bachelor's Degree in Accounting or Finance (or country equivalent) and typically 3 or more years of experience.
