Summary
The Autodesk Content Marketing & Strategy team is looking for an execution-oriented marketing professional to support our team of digital content creators. As a Web Editor, you’d be responsible for editing and managing content for Autodesk.com to build awareness, trust, and loyalty for the Autodesk brand. The role requires global sensitivity and intense collaboration with internal and external stakeholders to create content that helps visitors from around the world choose and buy the Autodesk software that is right for them.
Responsibilities
* Edit and manage content for assigned areas of website. * Build subject matter expertise as well as edit all content for style and web best practices. * Optimize copy with an emphasis on supporting organic search. * Ensure that content conveys corporate branding and messaging while also speaking in the appropriate customer voice. * Build and maintain effective working relationships with digital marketing managers, marketing team, and business partners to ensure a strong pipeline for content resources and approvals. * Partner with digital marketing managers and web project managers to ensure smooth, on-time publication of content. * Maintain web content guidelines/standards/style guide and ensure they are applied consistently across all projects. * Provide training on web best practices for vendors and stakeholders throughout the company.
Ideal Candidate
**Qualifications and Requirements** * 4-year college degree, preferably in English, communications, journalism, or a related area. * 3-5 years professional experience in web editing and/or writing. * Must be able to provide writing or editing samples upon request. * Must be able to pass written copyediting test. **Desired Knowledge/Skills** * Demonstrated proficiency in writing and editing high-quality content specifically for web. * Background in content marketing and/or marketing communications. * Experience working with web style guides and web copydeck templates. * Ability to prioritize work and manage projects on schedule. * Familiarity with web publishing tools, including content management systems (AEM strongly preferred), and basic understanding of web and web page structure. * Ability to interpret analytics and make data-driven decisions and recommendations. * Familiarity with Microsoft Office suite and commonly used web browsers. * Experience optimizing content for SEO. * Experience working with responsive design and personalized content. * Experience leading trainings and creating webcasts a plus.
