Summary
As a Product Manager on the Customer Engagement Technology team, you will define and manage technology capabilities needed to engage our customers in new ways and meet evolving marketing needs. This role will focus on customer-facing features that form the foundation for our customers’ experiences across our online properties, including Autodesk.com and 35+ international sites, the Autodesk eStore, Autodesk University, and more. You will work with other product managers, user experience designers, engineers, business partners, and other stakeholders to frame business needs and define the right experiences and functionality to meet those needs in a scalable way.
Responsibilities
* Understand business, marketing and stakeholder goals and how your product fulfills them. * Work with stakeholders to frame business problems and understand the unique viewpoints and needs of various teams. * Conduct market and user research to become an expert on industry trends and customer needs in relation to your product. * Identify & prioritize capabilities to build based on business value. Prioritize requests for capabilities from multiple stakeholders and maintain a backlog of opportunities. * Work with engineers to scope opportunities and understand level of effort. * Draft product delivery plans and work with Product Owner and Project Manager to align roadmaps and resources. * Define and communicate requirements to Product Owner and engineers. * Weigh in on prioritization issues and bugs as they come up. * Communicate regularly with leadership, stakeholders, and other Product Managers to provide status updates and maintain alignment. * Oversee internal go-to-market plan for new capabilities to ensure successful adoption.
Ideal Candidate
* Experience working directly with business stakeholders to frame and solve business problems. * Proven cross-functional leadership in a highly matrixed environment; able to influence, negotiate, set expectations and drive decisions. * Functional empathy; able to understand the workflows, needs and pain points of colleagues in diverse roles from engineers to designers and business leaders. * Customer advocate, with a resolve to solve customers’ pain points and aspirations. * Technical chops, or enough comfort discussing technical details to lead brainstorms with engineers, know what questions to ask and identify topics to address. * Clear and impactful communication skills; able to communicate effectively across all channels and optimize your message for different audiences. * Strategic and data-driven, focuses time and decisions on highest impact opportunities. * Thrives under ambiguity and adapts quickly to evolving priorities and business models. * 3+ years of experience in a similar role. * Experience working on web. * Experience working in an Agile environment is a plus. * Experience with Adobe Experience Manager (AEM) is a plus. * BS in business, marketing, computer science or related field.
