Description
Enable Voluntary Growth Strategy
- Provides leadership and direction for all benefit communications and enrollment events
- Gain the trust and confidence of the broker and policy holder in order to drive Assurant’s enrollment strategy.
- Partners with sales in support of broker/policyholder presentations. Serves as the primary interface with customers and broker.

Promote all aspect AssurantWorks utilizing experience in conjunction:
- Finalist presentations
- Determine Enrollment Strategy
- Develop timeline
- Benefit communication platforms
- Expense and resource management
- Hand off to Customer Advocacy and help position re-enrollment strategy
- Develop and manage effective and efficient operational business model for their region.
- Define the Enrollment strategy for the current new issue as well as set the expectation for future enrollment events.
Successfully Management the Enrollment Process
- Conduct intake meeting with the Broker/PH to determine the Enrollment strategy and conditions necessary for success.
- Conduct Case Prep training with Benefit Counselors
- Initiate enrollment process including accurately and timely population of Case Manager
- Manage the expectations for broker and policy holder on the enrollment conditions and capabilities
- Analyze results of the daily reports including participation, premium per interview, seen/unseen, etc …
- Debrief and provide feedback upon case completion
Develop & Maintain Relationships with Benefit Counselors
- Recruiting, Training and Onboarding of Benefit Counselors
- Quarterly evaluation of Benefit Counselor team
- Coordinate with Regional Manager to implement network development strategy where necessary
Minimum Requirements:
- High school diploma or GED
- 1 year of employee benefits insurance experience
- Licensed in Life and Health or ability to get a license within 3 months of hire.
- Travel - Must be able to travel to the sales offices for meetings and to broker meetings and enrollments in the field at least 50% of the time.
Preferred Qualifications:
- College Degree
- 3 years of experience in in worksite and/or voluntary insurance products
- Bi-lingual skills would be beneficial
- 1+ year of experience in customer service and advocacy orientation
- Experience working in or supporting a field sales environment
- 1 year of experience interpreting reporting data in Excel format
- Strong analytical skills and creative problem-solving capabilities
- Experience with various enrollment software and benefit administration platforms.
- Strong planning and organizational skills
- Strong presentation skills
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
- Ability to build strong relationships
Working Conditions
Travel - Must be able to travel to the sales offices for meetings and to broker meetings and enrollments in the field at least 50% of the time.
