Summary
The University Recruiting Manager is a leadership role reporting to the Senior Director of Talent Acquisition and is responsible for designing, implementing, and managing AppNexus’ University Recruiting’s strategy & programs. The University Recruiting team delivers 70+ new hires and interns every year while developing long term & diverse pipelines of entry-level talent for the company. As a member of the Talent Acquisition Leadership Team, this position is a key contributor to the overall success of the Talent Acquisition organization. This role is perfect for an experienced University Recruiting Leader who loves to collaboratively solve problems, work in a fast paced, entrepreneurial environment, and is eager to develop a high performing team.
Responsibilities
* Design, implement, and manage AppNexus’ University Recruiting’s strategy & programs to deliver 70+ new hires and interns annually * Lead and develop a high performing and highly engaged team of university recruiters * Continually improve University Recruiting programs to create a uniquely AppNexian summer intern and recent graduate onboarding experience * Creatively build the AppNexus brand on campus at schools across the country * Provide consultative guidance and creative problem solving when partnering with managers and People Partners in entry-level workforce planning efforts * Advocate for and drive continuous innovation; encourage the team to always make things better; demonstrate courage; display a constant curiosity for the business
Ideal Candidate
**About your skills:** * 5+ years of University recruiting experience, preferably at a technology company * 1+ year of management or team lead experience with proven success in mentoring and motivating direct reports to create a high functioning team * Demonstrated ability to design and launch innovate recruiting strategies * Outstanding written communication and presentation skills * Process oriented with strong analytical problem solving skills * Experience driving decision making processes by utilizing metrics, numbers and data trends * Excellent interpersonal skills with the ability to take initiative and build meaningful relationships throughout the company **More about you:** * You are passionate about a culture of learning and teaching.
