Summary
The Risk Management Analyst assists in identifying, gathering, recording, and compiling underwriting exposure information for submissions to Insurance Carriers, oversees the Certificates of Insurance program, manages allocations across the company, assists with Litigation Management, and is the system administrator for the Risk Management Information System. The position reports to the Risk Manager and is based in Salt Lake City, Utah.
Responsibilities
* Work with insurance brokers’ staff and Alsco field locations on the issuance of outbound Certificates of Insurance and Bonds. * Prepare submissions and complete applications for Property and Casualty Programs, domestic and foreign. * Work with outside vendors and IT systems to track assets and collect loss data. * Allocate insurance premiums, brokers’ fees, and other items to locations worldwide. * Calculate annual premium rates and retrospective chargeback. * Serve as System Administrator for RMIS (RiskMaster), including loading of data, design, and reporting features. * Review loss provision adjustments and audit premiums for insurance programs. * Assists with Contract Review.
Ideal Candidate
**Qualifications:** * 5+ years of experience performing duties similar to those listed above. * Strong Microsoft Office skills with an ability to use a variety of templates, tables, charts, graphs, and toolbars. * Strong mathematical and analytical skills. * Aptitude for innovative technology solutions. * Demonstrated initiative and the ability to be productive without close supervision. * Strong interpersonal and communication skills (verbal and written). **Education:** * High school graduate or holder of an equivalency degree. * Bachelor degree is preferred in Business Administration, Communications, or Finance. * Knowledge of RMIS a plus. **Typical Environmental Conditions:** * Office environment.
