Responsibilities
* The Senior Pricing Analyst leads the development and implementation of the US Vision Care pricing strategy to maximize market share and profitability. * Leads the development and implementation of 2-3 year pricing strategy and policy. * Leads large pricing initiatives that company undertakes * Leads cross functional teams to develop new strategies based on market and data analysis from pricing team. * Review pricing policies annually and ensures compliance to policies Re-evaluates organizational pricing in the marketplace on as needed basis and adjusts as needed Works with Brand * Teams to evaluate potential pricing actions and makes recommendations based on financial modeling and elasticity understanding. Identify, prioritize and execute price optimization projects according to business needs. * Direct promotional program’s strategic impact, development, and utilization. * Develops promotional programs and policies annually through cross functional teams which are consistent with market needs, brand strategies, sales feedback and data analyses that tie into the 2-3 year strategy. * Leads pricing team to assess programs’ effectiveness through data analytics and field input to makes recommendations as needed Directs pricing team to evaluates competitive pricing structures and in market execution of pricing programs. * Manages existing trade programs, including Premier Professional Program (PPP) * Manages lens rebate spending, works with the brand teams and field sales to ensure rebate values are competitive, aligns with management as needed to ensure rebate spending is under control, looks to drive greater efficiency in rebate structure over time. * Leads pricing team to build and utilize models to better understand full price discount structure by channel and customer type. * Run Tactical Execution Supervises the pricing process for LCP and OTC brands ($~600M). * Manages and oversees all pricing analysis to deliver quarterly pricing review insights and recommendations to pricing governance committee. * Leads annual base price process and implementation * Directs pricing team to develop and deliver fact based sales materials, sales aids, and promotional material that support promotional programs and pricing strategies. * Drive Communication Transparency. * Leads Pricing Governance Committee (GM presides) Key communication link with NAD’s, field sales organization, and marketing directors. * Train, educate and communicate with internal organizations to increase pricing clarity, transparency, buy-in and execution.
Ideal Candidate
* Bachelor's degree or equivalent years of directly related experience * English * 3 years directly related experience
