Summary
Looking for a change agent to help the Marketing COE create, develop and serve information and insights for decision making at all levels of the organization. The ideal candidate for this role is a marketing or sales professional with experience measuring the effect of campaigns, promotions or customer initiatives on growing and monetizing customer relationships. The marketing COE is challenging traditional measurement methodologies, engagement models and infrastructure to respond to the challenges of “modern marketing”. We are developing nimble information platforms to enable continued investment optimization and maximize consistent value delivery to customers. NextGen marketing is not “next” it is here and success in this new paradigm requires a focused approach on scale, simplification and automation of information platforms. Responsibilities
- Work with Regional and Business Unit customers designing metrics, dashboards and advanced information visualization platforms to provide real, actionable insights - Proactively “cross-sell” existing information platforms to different teams around the globe - Enable “federated” COE approach - Drive standardization and automation strategy across Sales and Marketing information platforms and decision making tools, leveraging same core data sets across COE’s [account, channel, etc.] - Drive coordinated/globalized/governed approach around key reports and visualization platforms [reputation, pipeline, BI, etc.] - Leverage shared set of IT maintained, governed tools - Develop metrics summaries and early warning indicators for executives/business leaders - Build a better understanding of customer behavior across different parts of the portfolio and help improve customer engagement, lead qualification and nurturing activities. - Free up marketing and customer/partner engagement teams time for them to focus more on customers/partners.
Ideal Candidate
- 10+ years of relevant experience or equivalent combination of education and work experience in marketing/data analytics, or similar role using data and information to drive business recommendations. - Ability to translate strategic vision into data/information requirements and synthesize complex data into simple insights and recommendations - Innovative and practical in their approach to analytics and results measurement - Understanding and familiarity with data modeling, excel and/or database designs- SQL, experience with data visualization software (Tableau, Domo, etc) highlight desired - Solid interpersonal skills to drive cross-functional collaboration and lead change initiatives - Experience driving/measuring marketing campaigns/programs at regional level preferred
