Summary
The primary role is to understand project requirements, request quotes from suppliers, formulate and maintain a project Profit Analyzer, and obtain and communicate internal approvals. Continuously works with Account Directors to create customized programs that are in alignment with profit margin and budget.
Responsibilities
* Works continuously with Account Directors to create customized programs. Researches project requirements in order to successfully project anticipated profits in alignment with profit margin and budget. * Reviews Creative Brief and enters accurate specifications, obtains estimates via profit analyzer, and develops profit analyzer and timetable agreeing to components and execution dates prior to submitting to PPM ACCOUNT MANAGER. * Negotiates with multiple vendors. Approves and updates project Profit Analyzers, and obtains and communicates internal approvals. * Manages assigned projects to ensure on-time execution within agreed to timeline, profit margin and budget. * Develops checkpoint conferences with PPM ACCOUNT MANAGER to ensure projects stay on track. * Works with participating brands to obtain needed execution art and ensure e-mail proof of sign off of approvals prior to going to execution. Ties in Graphic Team and ensures clear and accurate communication. * Maintains detailed Project Tracker to ensure all pieces of program are executed exactly as agreed. * Works with PPM ACCOUNT MANAGER and/or retailer to ensure email signoff of retailer prior to approving execution (printing or other) * Reviews all proofs for accuracy. * Responsible for preparing post promotion analysis, incentive, and AR management. **Negotiating/Partnership** * Establishes 3-4 successful vendor relationships and negotiates competitive pricing and work quality. * Negotiates with program suppliers and obtaining at least 3 supplier quotes for each program component. * Determines and utilizes lowest cost/highest quality vendors. **Training and Development** * Transfers key learning’s between peers to better efficiency of production department.
Ideal Candidate
**Field of Study/Area of Experience: Business Administration** * 3-5 years of experience in business related position whereby detailed organizational skills are used daily. * Ability to manage multiple priorities and work as a team player * Strong analytical skills and techniques * Strong negotiating, decision-making, and problem-solving skills * Strong interpersonal and organization skills * Outstanding written and oral communication skills * Intermediate Adobe CS6 skills * Intermediate MS Office Suite skills * Understanding of general production techniques, workflows, processes, and working with print suppliers * Knowledge of syndicated data - helpful
