Production Artist

MKTG is an International marketing services agency that builds global, national and local communities around brands by engaging consumers through experiential, digital and social media.

The designer will work closely with the studio to design and build production files for print, digital, and/or promotional materials for experiential programs, premium events, and integrated advertising/marketing campaigns for wide range of clients spanning from B2B to B2C. You need to be imaginative, experimental, multidisciplinary, and eager to contribute conceptually to a collaborative team – someone with a complete understanding of the print production process and the ability to build mechanical print production files.

* Working with Creative Directors and Art Directors to produce inventive, thoughtful, on-brand work for MKTG’s premiere client roster across an array of media including print, digital, fabrication, environmental, and more * Preparing digital files for print production * Assisting with print coordination of marketing and event materials * Assisting in print design layout, illustrations and renderings of events as well as on-going production responsibilities * Layout of print collateral such as: invitations, ads, program books, point-of-sale materials, collateral materials, and event renderings * Researching online photo banks and downloading photography * Program ideation with Studio team

**Qualifications:** * Bachelor's degree in Graphic Design or equivalent * 3+ years working within a design firm, ad agency or other creative team environment * Highly technical in Adobe CS6/InDesign/Creative Cloud * Expert in type and layout (paragraph styles, tabs, naming layers, master pages, etc) * Solid background in packaging files for final output to print/fabrication * Understanding of printing procedures and requirements a MUST * Working knowledge of MS PowerPoint, Excel, and Word, Google Docs is a plus * Ability to manage multiple projects and meet defined deadlines while collaborating with other designers and freelancers * Excellent grammatical skills * Creative and detail oriented coupled with a strong work ethic * Understanding and execution of latest design trends and modern aesthetic a HUGE plus **Competencies:** * Core Agency Competencies: Quality, Accountability and Profitability * Developing: Creativity, Mastery Design Software, Follow Direction, Time Management/Organization, Knowledge of Current Creative Trends and Action Oriented * Experienced: Learns from Experience, Team Player and Creativity
