Project Manager, Omaha, Nebraska

ADF Engineering is looking for a Project Manager to become a part of our team of engineers and designers at our Omaha, Nebraska office.

• The successful candidate for this position will work on time and cost sensitive projects in a multi-disciplinary, team-based environment to provide customer-focused engineering consulting services.

• The successful candidate for this position must have the ability to develop positive working relationships with industrial customers to provide cost-effective solutions to their engineering needs.

Required Skills & Experience

• Bachelor's of Science Degree in Process Chemical, Mechanical (preferred), or Structural Engineering is required.

• A Master's of Science Degree in Process Chemical, Mechanical or Structural Engineering, and/or a MBA are a plus.

• 10+ years of relevant experience required.

• Direct customer contact and customer relations.

• Current Professional Engineer (PE) license preferred, or the ability to receive a PE within 1 year required.

• PMP certification preferred.

• Excellent writing abilities including proposals and project reports.

Experience in the following areas is preferred:

• Consulting engineering

• Inter-disciplinary teams

• Construction Management

• Retro-fitting & expanding existing industrial facilities

• Equipment replacement

• New industrial plant facilities & process engineering

• Piping, conveyors, boilers & heat processes, pumps, tanks, foundations, separators

Additional Preferred Knowledge & Experience

• Agra-business, pharmaceuticals, oil seeds, biofuels, grain milling & handling

• Pet food, animal feed, edible and industrial oils

Physical Requirements

• Applicants for this position must be willing and able to make site visits to client industrial facilities and be able to climb ladders, walk on catwalks and other elevated surfaces, walk in areas that include equipment, piping, cables and other obstructions, wear Personal Protective Equipment appropriate to the site and to completely comply with safety related policies and procedures.

• Applicants must be able to conduct field inspections of facilities and equipment to observe and record relevant information, including working in confined or obstructed spaces.
