* Manage daily operations of the express store.
* Perform a variety of duties personally and/or supervise employees performing duties.
* Plan and prepare work schedules and assign employees to specific duties.
* Train, develop and assess performance of sales associates in all aspects of the business to ensure they have the skills, product knowledge and operations skills to provide a quality customer experience.
* Responsible for the career development, retention, and succession planning of store’s associates.
* Ensure that each customer receives outstanding customer service by providing a welcoming helpful environment which includes greeting and acknowledging every customer, exchanging names, maintaining outstanding standards, demonstrating solid product knowledge and meeting all other components of the company’s customer service guidelines.
* Ensure appropriate merchandise stock levels, merchandise presentations, and signage is current and displayed properly.
* Responsible for a clean store that includes fixtures, shelves, baskets, desks, tasting bar, register counters, kitchen, conference room, backroom, bathroom and floor according to company policy.
* Document and apply adjustments on the return of damaged, breakage and spoilage, or discontinued products.
* Review store trends.
* Recommend and initiate changes for maximizing goals and objectives.
* Ensure compliance with all policies and procedures through regular store management and staff meetings, store walk-through and audits, etc.
* Operate the cash register, accept payment, make change, provide receipts, perform end of day process and daily reconciliation.
* Adhere to company procedures for cash handling, inbound & transfer of products, invoicing, will calls & samples, and security & safety.
* Communicate effectively with Director of Express Network and peers.
* Collaborate with Director of Express Network to establish clear performance goals and objectives.
* Manage all aspects of a single retail store; including merchandise, physical inventory, verify shipments and orders, and expense control.
* Monitor, analyze and measure sales performance; develop and implement plans to maximize sales and meet or exceed sales goals/quotas and objectives.
* Prepare daily sales and weekly inventory reports.
* Responsible for building customer base by communicating and engaging with customers through social media and telesales.
* Other duties may be assigned by management.
