Yodle is seeking a Technical Support Specialist to provide top notch support to Yodle employees. The ideal candidate will be passionate about technology, customer focused with a can do attitude, someone who drives for results and has the ability to learn on the fly. The Yodle IT team is spread out among four cities (NYC, Austin, Charlotte, Scottsdale) but there is a high degree of collaboration and teamwork. Ours is an environment that is always challenging due to Yodle’s fast growth and where you are limited only by your imagination and ability. If you see a problem and have a way to solve it, then you have a chance to make it happen whether it’s a new script to automate a task or a more efficient process for getting work done.
- Provide on-site troubleshooting, training and tech support for end users for equipment and services provided by IT
- Provide telephone/remote tech support for same
- Perform software installations and updates
- Track work progress in a ticketing system
- Maintain accurate documentation
- Maintain accurate inventory documentation
- Prepare and submit purchase requests for computing equipment as needed to support company requirements
- Set up PCs, printers, peripherals and networking equipment
- Manage Computers, users and policy in Active Directory
- Assist in administration of network equipment, servers
Requirements:
- 1-3 years of experience providing technical support to end users in multi-site corporate environment
- BA degree or equivalent experience
- A+ and/or Network+ certifications a plus
- Solid knowledge of Windows and Mac desktop operating systems and common applications (Office, web browsers, etc)
- Powershell scripting experience a plus
- Active Directory and Group Policy exposure
Minimum Experience Required:
- 1-3 years of experience providing technical support to end users
