Summary
You will be responsible for a regional territory, selling YES Commercial Utility Expense Management and Utility Billing products and services to the commercial real estate management industry. You will excel in prospecting, lead generation and marketing activities using telephone, onsite and on-line presentations, webinars, e-mail interaction and conference participation. Your primary directive is to generate new YES customers, beginning with prospecting via cold calling and onsite visits to create new opportunities and finishing with signed deals and happy clients. You must become technically familiar with all of the productofferings, the competition and be excellent at promoting company products and services. You will enjoy interacting with executive level personnel in large to mid-sized real estate companies and C-level targets in the real estate arena, adding value and building strong relationships to further the growth of your territory. This job will involve approximately 40% travel.
Responsibilities
* Meet or exceed the monthly, quarterly and annual revenue goals * Responsible for full sales cycle, including lead generation, telephone and email prospecting, on-line and in-person meetings and demonstrations, conferences and trade event attendance; you will successfully generate opportunities, prepare proposals and agreements, and close deals * Form relationships with c-level and other executives to promote “push-down” decisions, with the users of our products and services, and with trade associations * Establish a strong sales pipeline for company's products and services * Provide accurate pipelines, sales forecasts, and account/CRM data * Assist in the development and implementation of marketing materials and programs * Provide market and customer feedback on our products and services to product management and development teams
Ideal Candidate
* Bachelor’s Degree or commensurate experience * 5+ years of successful sales experience managing and developing a sales territory * Experience selling a new product to new customers * Must be sound in basic sales principles such as lead generation, opportunity qualification, proposal development, contract negotiation and closure * Must have an understanding of sales strategies using consultative selling and relationship-building techniques * Must have strong presentation skills and an assertive, engaging personality * Must be a self-starter, goal-oriented and be able to function remotely with little direction * Highly ethical and disciplined professionalism * Team player who can motivate and encourage the best from others and a passion for products that make the world a better place * Must be able to demonstrate outstanding customer relationships * Must have the ability to understand technical products * Entrepreneurial spirit and operate well within an entrepreneurial company culture * The following will be given strong consideration: background in enterprise software sales, commercial real estate experience, and/or energy experience * Regular attendance and a regular work schedule is an essential function of this job
