Cerner Systems Integration Architect

We are currently conducting interviews with Cerner Professionals experienced in a variety of areas to grow our full-time team of traveling consultants. Candidates can live anywhere in the U.S. and will travel weekly to a variety of client sites. These are full-time employee openings to include:

Primary Required Skills:
- Bachelor's degree in computer science, systems analysis or a related study, or equivalent experience
- Recent experience with the most recent Cerner code level release
- 3 years of experience at a Healthcare provider organization is a must
Additional Requirements:
- Exposure to multiple, diverse technologies and processing environments with an ability to explain the context of the business process across roles & venues
- Promoted beginning to end patient workflow optimization through the integration of solutions
- Knowledge of business process re-engineering principles and processes.
- Understanding of the enterprise's political climate and how to navigate the political waters
- Ability to understand the long-term ('big picture') and short-term perspectives of situations.
- Ability to guide the development of comprehensive integration test scripts with outcomes that support desired level of integration
- Knowledge/use of Solution specific reports, Discern reports, CCL
- Knowledge/design/build/use of Cerner Core systems (Bedrock, location, organizations, core code sets and values, preferences, security, and tasks)
- Knowledge and experience with multiple interface engines: Open Port, Ensemble etc
- Knowledge and experience with file exchanges: EDI, HIE,
- Excellent problem solving skills with clear understanding of what resources are needed based on the solutions and issues involved
- Ability to test software, create system fixes and provide systems training.
- Strong communication skills (written/verbal) required
- Good organizational skills required
- Flexibility in work week
- Availability to work on-site as well as remote based upon client needs
