Systems Analyst

Seeking a Senior System Analyst to join our client's team.

Under the general direction of the Section Manager the Senior Systems Analyst provides significant contributions required for implementation of major projects, taking responsibility for various segments, or will handle all facets of enhancements projects. Plans, directs, and performs systems analysis on reported system issues and requested enhancements. Perform system testing on enhancements and modifications. System development work on interfaces and in house developed applications. Ensures implementation of Company safety, health and environmental programs for employees whose work is directed. Ensures that safe work practices are followed and the environment is fully protected in accordance with Company policy and governmental regulations. * Bachelors Degree with at least 3-4 years of demonstrated work experience in a related Information Technology field which includes application programming, experience with relational databases and SQL language required. * Associates Degree or technical certification with at least 6 years of demonstrated work experience in a related Information Technology field which includes application programming, experience with relational databases and SQL language required. * Must have demonstrated experience working with and coordinating with other departments. Demonstrated experience in Database Design/Analysis, Business Analysis, and/or Data Modeling. Technical requirements include ASP.NET 2008/2012, Web Services, AJAX, Telerik, COBOL programming, and Mainframe. * Must demonstrate at a high level, understands the application portfolio, the computing and communications infrastructures and the IR organizations required to support them. * Proficiency with Microsoft Office (Outlook, Word, Excel and Powerpoint) is required. * Prior experience and/or strong understanding of Customer Information Systems is preferred. * Excellent oral and written communication skills. Experience in writing formal documentation and requirements. * Experience in preparing and conducting presentations is preferred. * Must be well organized, detail oriented and flexible. Ability to complete multiple assignments with changing priorities while still meeting deadlines. * Able to perform supervisory functions in support of or absence of team leader preferred. * Ability to transfer knowledge to peers and train subordinates preferred.
