Summary

A NYS government agency located in New York, NY is looking for an Oracle PL/SQL Forms & Reports Developer for a 1 year contract to develop as well as enhance existing modules within the agency. In addition this consultant will do break-fixes, modify features within the system on requirements / testing.

Responsibilities

* The consultant will be responsible for developing as well as enhancing existing modules within the agency. 
* Perform break-fixes, modify features within the system on requirements / testing.
* Systems analysis, database change requests, process analysis, security, and standards. 
* The consultant will be a hands on Oracle Forms and reports programmer with a commanding knowledge of PL/SQL and will also oversee application testing including interfaces and address user reported issues. Incumbent will insure compliance with change control and IT quality assurance procedures. 
* This position will require daily troubleshooting of software application issues, manage the development of Oracle Forms and Reports consistent with the systems standards and requirements documents. 
* The consultant and incumbent will work with the module leads to provide hands on programming, production support, unit testing, ensure successful user acceptance testing, debugging programs as required, finding resolutions and troubleshooting long running programs.

Ideal Candidate

Oracle Fusion Forms and Reports 11g or minimum Oracle Forms and Reports 10g expertise.
Commanding knowledge of Oracle PL/SQL
Hands-on working experience with complex/large database packages, procedures, functions and triggers with Oracle Database 11g R2 or higher
Candidate must be able to work independently on complex development / enhancements and configuration setup with reference tables across database instances
Candidate must have minimum 5 or 7 years hands on working experience in Oracle Forms / Report, PL/SQL and DBA related activities.
Good understanding of Oracle WebLogic architecture / Oracle Application Servers
Understanding of Oracle APEX, JavaScript, HTML, PHP, and Apache Server a plus.
