When I Work is an employee scheduling and communication app using the web, mobile apps, text messaging, social media, and email. The program provides a powerful tool for employers to communicate with employees and ensure schedules are properly communicated.
Summary
As a Sales Development Representative at When I Work you are the first person to interact with our prospective customers and new free trial users. Our Sales Development Reps work directly with our customers to enhance their overall user experience and expedite their understanding of When I Work’s apps. Sales Development Reps are responsible for outbound calls to our new free trial users as well as inbound live chats. By monitoring and engaging our net new monthly free trials, providing helpful advice regarding setup and configuration and positioning themselves as a trusted business advisor, our Sales Development Reps are key to the success of our organization and our customers.
Responsibilities
* Management of the first prospect conversation via live chat, email, phone calls, and webinars * Building rapport with our new free trial users * Acting as a liaison between product management and the customer * Uncovering qualified leads and passing to Account Executives * Prioritizing and responding to prospect questions * Fostering opportunities for two-way communication * Providing guidance and best practices on the implementation and setup of When I Work’s applications * Monitoring and simplifying prospect adoption of our solution features and functionality * Become proficient in When I Work’s discovery and sales execution process to ensure prospects are properly vetted and connected with the right resources * Demonstrate expertise in the When I Work application suite – scheduling & communication and time & attendance * Work with marketing, support, development and the executive team to identify/resolve all issues that could impact conversion rate and satisfaction
Ideal Candidate
* Experience prospect facing sales & service role that includes sales and application setup and delivery at both the business owner and executive levels * 0 - 2 years of experience in technology sales, SaaS implementation, mobile apps or cloud software * Functional knowledge of workforce management solutions, accounting software and payroll applications * Technology savvy and ability to quickly learn new things * Proven ability to collaborate and build strong relationships with prospects especially at the Executive/Business Owner level * Proven ability to engage across internal corporate functions (Marketing, Customer Care, Development and Executive teams) * Excellent verbal and written communication skills, including the ability to manage meetings or host webinars * Bachelor degree required; business or technical degree preferred * Excellent organizational and time management skills * Service/Retail industry experience is a plus * Passion for customer service, sales and business consulting
