Product Management Director

The Internet of Things Software Platform Group is looking for a product leader to help drive and evolve our platform. The successful candidate will have demonstrated experience/expertise in SaaS solutions in a highly distributed environment, will be well respected by his/her peers in the technical community as a mentor, and will interact with key customers to help guide the IoT platform journey. The Director Product Management for the IoT Software group will lead customer engagements and drive development of product and business strategies.

* Oversee multiple product lines and manage a team of PMs and Technical Product Managers (TMEs) * Define and shape the IoT Software vision, technology roadmap, and framework for product lifecycle management, as well as drive the go-to-market portfolio timeline * Partner with key internal groups across sales, marketing, legal, etc * Gain deep insight into the IoT landscape across the key stakeholders to proactively predict and respond * Principles to follow: * Culture and people first * Clear understanding of “Code Speaks, Revenue Shouts” * Promotes open and direct communication * Lead by example

* Experience with both achievements and failures in product leadership * A minimum of 10 years of product management experience * A minimum of eight years of software industry experience with proven track record * Must have experience in cloud services, developer frameworks and data management & services * Experience in existing & new infrastructure cloud platforms * Must be willing to work out of an office located in San Francisco, CA OR San Jose, CA. * Some travel required
