Summary
Customer Service Representative is responsible for processing orders and inquiries relative to concentrated products and managing customer orders throughout the supply chain to accomplish service goals and sales objectives. Additionally, Customer Service Representatives will share in day to day oversight and resolution of the full life-cycle of liability claims while minimizing overall insurance program costs.
Responsibilities
* Receive, coordinate and process orders from customers, brokers, and sales or area managers for shipments and ensure product is ordered and shipped from correct manufacturing plant and warehouse location. * Interface with production planning, sales, scheduling, transportation and warehouse personnel to ensure inventory availability to meet current and projected sales needs. * Responsible for inventory reconciliation on designated items to ensure order attainment and product is shipped in date rotation. * Identify, track and resolve customer shipment and distribution related issues. * Set up and maintain customer accounts, business intelligence systems and related customer data including claim files. Coordinate necessary internal documentation to WLF. * Publish notifications to customers on past due accounts, inquire on status of payment receipts, and confirm customer knowledge of payment terms. Understand Accounts Receivable to correctly code and assign dollar amounts to claims. * Communicate new product and service opportunities, special developments, information or feedback gathered through field activity to appropriate company staff. * Identify redistribution needs in OS&D situations based on product shelf life and customer availability for delivery. * Refer unresolved customer issues to designated departments for further investigation and follow up on appropriate correspondence to ensure time sensitive deadlines are met. * Maintain knowledge of all relevant export law procedures, tariffs, duties and restrictions. * Manage the movement of products in and out of the country in accordance with policies and procedures. * Identify sales prospects and contacts for number two product. * Responsible for accurate preparation and maintenance of product specifications on all products produced at each manufacturing plant and timely submission of new and updated records to Product Coding Administrator. * Coordinate claims resolution and disposition strategy with customers. * Develop Collaborate with operations and internal legal department during discovery and resolution phase of litigated matters to resolve quickly and minimize all costs. * Analyze and report complaints based on item, cause or other factors. * Analyze account characteristics and work with customers to resolve their issues, persuading them to resolve the complaint and/or recommending appropriate solutions while providing "best in class" customer service. * Maintain documentation of activities in a clear and concise manner utilizing the appropriate systems and in accordance with established procedures. * Other duties as assigned.
Ideal Candidate
* High School Diploma or equivalent preferred. * 2 to 3 years of customer service experience or related experience preferred. * Ability to perform basic math. * Basic computer skills including MS Office. * Must be open and able to work extended hours and weekends if needed.
