Responsibilities
Treasury Management Sales, Wholesale Experienced and energetic sales consultant responsible for the development and retention of electronic payment and invoicing business in a specified territory. Responsibilities include the analysis and understanding of a client’s end to end procure to payment process including the analysis client trading relationships, invoicing processes and payment processes. Responsible for recommending and implementing optimized automated invoicing technology and corporate payment solutions that include commercial card, ACH, wires and checks. Works closely with Commercial Relationship Managers and Treasury Sales Officers in a consultative selling role. Responsible for meeting annual sales goals and sales activity targets by developing and executing a strategy to retain and further penetrate existing client relationships through regular calling efforts. Develops sales plans for territory and key customer accounts. Serves as the lead advocate for the sale Commercial Card products as well as all electronic payment and invoicing solutions within the Treasury Management group as well as with assigned partners. Contributes to Treasury Management initiatives and the business line strategy. Primarily a travel related sales position with some phone/web sales. Works under the direction of a Regional Sales Manager although role seeks a team member that requires minimal direction and assistance from management.
Ideal Candidate
Required Qualifications * 3+ years of experience in one or a combination of the following: sales, business development, or treasury management Desired Qualifications * Strong knowledge and understanding of treasury management product and services * Excellent verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills Other Desired Qualifications * Experience in business development, sales or treasury management products and services. * 3+ years of direct sales experience in Treasury Management, Commercial Card, Merchant Card or a current member of the Wells Fargo Commercial Card team * Demonstrated/documented skill set to meet and exceed established sales goals in a Business Development or Business to Business environment * Knowledgeable of, and skilled in, the Commercial Card and/or commercial payables industry * Able to work effectively in a highly technical environment * Dedicated, highly motivated team player with the proven skill-set and desire to work in a fast-paced environment * Customer facing Commercial Banking experience to regional banking, middle market and /or large corporate organizations * Proven ability to negotiate and influence expansion of current customer relationships * Demonstrated ability to work with internal partners across business lines * Ability and willingness to travel required * Willingness to relocate
