Wargaming Chicago-Baltimore is the talented studio responsible for the console edition of Wargaming.net’s flagship title, World of Tanks. The Wargaming Chicago-Baltimore studio is a growing group of accomplished designers, artists and engineers in Chicago, IL and Baltimore, MD who play a key role in Wargaming’s global, cross-platform product development strategy. In December of 2012, Wargaming Chicago-Baltimore became the latest addition to the Wargaming family, through acquisition of Day 1 Studios – an independent developer well known for its creation of Microsoft’s MechAssault™ series and its work on Warner Bros. F.E.A.R.™ franchise. At Wargaming Chicago-Baltimore, creative and passionate individuals foster an environment focused on successfully creating industry-leading entertainment. Founded as a privately held company in 1998, Wargaming has shipped more than 15 titles and employs over 2000 people across such key regions as North America, Europe, Russia, Asia, and Australia. Currently, Wargaming is focused on its team-based MMO war series dedicated to mid-20th century warfare that will include the company’s flagship armored MMO World of Tanks, launched in April 2011, the flight combat game World of Warplanes, named one of the most anticipated MMOs and the naval World of Warships, scheduled for release in 2014. Wargaming is a critically acclaimed online game developer and publisher.
