The Wargaming Chicago-Baltimore studio is a growing group of accomplished designers, artists and engineers in Chicago, IL and Baltimore, MD who play a key role in Wargaming’s global, cross-platform product development strategy.

We are looking for the right individuals to join us and help deliver great user experiences in both our highly-successful current game, World of Tanks: Xbox One, 360 Edition and our recently announced PS4 edition. If you’re an experienced Python Engineer, who’s excited about games, and excited about working in a creative environment with new technologies and innovating to solve problems, this could be the perfect role for you.

- Design and develop game infrastructure services. - Create and maintain multiple complex high-load applications. - Manage front and/or back-end tasks. - Collaborate with game developers on projects that work between game servers and Web products.

- Web development experience - 3+ years working with Python and other web-based applications. - Solid SQL knowledge – Demonstrated RDBMS experience (preferably MySQL or PostgreSQL). You have the ability to design effective data storage for the task at hand, and know how to optimize query performance along the way. - Web server excellence – preferably using Apache and Nginx. - Linux expertise - with a BS in Computer Science or equivalent **Even better if you have:** - Django Framework experience - Twisted experience - Memcached and RabbitMQ - High-load experience
