Responsibilities
* Oversight of processing and final approval of all construction draw requests and change orders on FHA-insured multi-family and healthcare construction loans * Oversight and approval of all releases from construction related escrow accounts * Review and approval of Ginnie Mae security issuance and settlement documentation * Review and approval of cost certifications; coordination and approval of all documentation required for final endorsement and conversion from construction loan to permanent loan * Review and approval of daily processing work of construction loan staff, assist staff where necessary and ensure accuracy of work * Work with asset management group to monitor lease-up and ensure a smooth transition from construction monitoring to permanent loan monitoring. * Ensure that borrowers remain in compliance with all loan covenants * Preparation and maintenance of monthly construction loan status report; summarize status of construction and identify any areas of concern for senior management; implement risk mitigation strategies where necessary * Manage, train and provide guidance and mentoring for staff * Maintain open communication with borrowers, HUD and W&D production staff. * Assist in the automation of key functions of the Construction Servicing department as necessary. * Handle additional projects as assigned.
Ideal Candidate
**Qualifications Required** * Must demonstrate excellent written and verbal communication skills * Ability to travel independently * Management experience preferred * Strong analytical skills, with the ability to approach problems logically while ensuring adherence to program guidelines * Proficient in the use of all MS Office products, plus experience with database software * Excellent organizational and strategic planning skills * Excellent interpersonal and customer service skills with strong work ethic to meet daily challenges of a fast-paced environment **Education** * Bachelors or better in Accounting or related field. * Bachelors or better in Business Administration or related field. * Bachelors or better in Finance or related field. * Bachelors or better in Real Estate or related field. **Experience Required** * 2 years or more experience in construction servicing and asset management of multifamily and healthcare facilities required. * At least 5 years experience in construction servicing and asset management of Multifamily and Healthcare facilities. * Knowledge of HUD programs strongly preferred.
