Responsibilities

The Opportunity:

Cresa’s Chicago office is seeking a talented individual to join the organization as a Project Manager. This individual will work with our clients to manage the due diligence, team assembly, design, construction and occupancy of their office, industrial and hospitality projects. This high impact role reports directly to the Principal of the Chicago office.

The ideal candidate will be a college graduate with 3-5 years of prior experience. Real Estate experience is a plus, but an interest in the real estate industry and strategic space planning is critical. Strong consideration will be given for candidates with experience in architecture, interior design or construction. Core Responsibilities and Duties:

  • Confirm client requirements and establish project budgets and schedules.
  • Coordinate design professionals and review project drawings.
  • Administer construction process and coordinate project payments.
  • Manage FF&E (fixture, furniture and equipment) selection, purchase and installation processes.
  • Prepare presentation materials for clients and prospects.
  • Participate in client presentations and follow-up, as appropriate.
  • Complete special projects as assigned by the Principals.
Ideal Candidate

Education and Experience:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Architecture, Interior Design, Construction or related field.
  • Past work experience in real estate a plus, including experience in architecture, interior design and construction. However, a strong interest in commercial real estate and strategic space planning is crucial.
  • Working knowledge of Microsoft Office, specifically Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.

  • Superior analytical skills and a strong attention to detail.
  • Highly self-motivated and capable of self-directed work given broad objectives and limited direct supervision.
  • Ability to plan, organize, prioritize and execute multiple projects and assignments at a time, while managing expectations both internally and externally.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Enthusiasm and motivation to succeed in a collaborative team environment.

Base salary commensurate with experience, with the opportunity for a performance-based bonus. Full benefits package available.
