Responsibilities
- As an integral member of our dynamic Marketing team the Product Marketing Coordinator will partner closely with specialist team members on a variety of projects and initiatives in the areas of marketing analytics, event planning, research and the creation of sales-enablement tools and collateral. In this capacity you will support the Product Marketing team in scheduling, coordinating and participating in events, tracking online marketing campaigns, researching trends, reporting findings and editing print and online communications. - Our ideal candidate is a team-player, detail oriented, a good multi-tasker, a strong writer and communicator and enjoys working on both analytical and creative projects. This is an excellent opportunity for individuals who have a passion for languages/ education and would like to expand their marketing knowledge by making an impact in a fast paced and thriving environment. **Principal Duties** - Develop and maintain a comprehensive understanding of our products - Effectively and reliably support Marketing Product Managers with the creation and the coordination of sales tools and collateral - Conduct periodic research of competitive landscape and document findings - Coordinate various aspects of new copyright production and materials, including the Publication Schedule, Exam Packs, and Gift Boxes etc. - Coordinate product package information with internal stakeholders in Marketing, Manufacturing, and Inventory to ensure accurate and timely creation of product package and ISBN details across systems Update and manage all product-related items in Salesforce - Edit and proofread print and electronic communications as needed - Create and track Marketing/Manufacturing-related purchase orders - Contribute to other initiatives as necessary
Ideal Candidate
- BA/ BS in Marketing, Communications, or related area of study - 2+ years previous experience in Marketing, preferably in the publishing, education or technology sector - Excellent attention to detail and accuracy - Exceptional writing, proofing and editing skills - Good research skills - Excellent organization, communication and interpersonal skills - Ability to work in an organized, efficient manner and to communicate and collaborate across departments and external stakeholders - Strong desire to support and assist others in a variety of projects and assignments A high level of proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint - Ability to effectively synthesize data from a variety of sources, summarize and develop new documents - Database usage experience - Ability and desire to learn new things quickly - Capability to work effectively in a fast paced, dynamic and deadline driven environment - The ability/flexibility to travel for meetings, conferences, events, etc. - Prior experience with SharePoint and Salesforce preferred
