Summary
As the People Operations Representative at Virool, you will manage the operational considerations of the HR department. You will join the Head of People Ops and represent the celebration of people, talent, and internal relationships and will do so with a supportive, compassionate, and enthusiastic attitude. You will be the backbone of the HR team, maintaining information across the department, reporting against HRIS systems, project managing supervisors, employees and contractors and supporting the goals of the talent department.
Responsibilities
**HR Administration:** * Receive handoff from recruiting and provide initial communication with new hires, including offer creation and Zenefits new hire administration * Maintain/update materials including: benefit forms/pamphlets, government compliance forms/posters for all offices * Arrange first week schedule with hiring manager, Office Services and Head of HR, Wingperson, and orientation for new hires prior to first day * Execute quarterly engagement survey and regular employee surveys * Manage Wingperson program in conjunction with internal team * Coordinate with hiring managers and Office Services on seating location for temporary and full time hires * Set up and maintain all employee personnel records and e-filing * Process bi-monthly Paychex payroll and manage all updates and changes * Assist with HR-related and company events * Assist the Head of HR as needed **Benefits / Payroll:** * Primary resource in fielding employees’ questions and concerns regarding health care, retirement, and miscellaneous benefits * Primary contact with Zenefits * Process termination paperwork; and process termination checks * Setup non-exempt employees on Desktime upon hire * Field employee questions regarding deductions and payroll issues and resolve them as they arise * Handle all employee verifications * Run all reports from Zenefits * Additional duties may be assigned as required
Ideal Candidate
* 1+ years of experience in Human Resources and/or payroll administration in a startup environment * Extremely detail oriented, with impeccable standards of accuracy and precision * Have a high sensitivity to confidential employee information * Interested in a career in Human Resources * Flexibility to handle a substantial, fast-paced workload with many interruptions * Strong interpersonal relations and problem solving skills * Consistently displays a professional and positive service-oriented demeanor * Effective oral and written communication skills * Ability to laugh at yourself, a fantastic sense of humor, and a friend to all
