Vantiv is growing! We are searching for a Sales Manager for our Existing Sales group. Ideally this person will be located in Louisville KY with monthly travel to our Headquarters building in Cincinnati OH. The primary focus of the Sales Manager is to grow and develop the sales team to sell Vantiv solutions and services to our existing customer base.
* Manage sales representatives who are responsible for closing service sales transactions over the phone. * Administers/designs the renewal representatives' sales incentive plan. * Trains, mentors, coaches, and supervises inside/contract renewal staff. * Typically works with the field sales organization to ensure that representatives are provided adequate support in the field. * Conducts regular sales meetings to communicate / motivate sales personnel and ensure good working discipline. * Owns development of the team including developing Sales Rep specific objectives/measures; and completion of Annual Reviews and Personal Development Plans * May work with inside/contract renewal sales representatives to develop channel partnerships. * Responsible for market development, setting targets, and ensuring that revenue is generated. * Receives assignments in the form of objectives and determines how to use resources to meet schedules and goals. * Provides guidance to subordinates within the latitude of established company policies. Recommends changes to policies and establishes procedures that affect immediate organization(s). * Works on issues of diverse scope where analysis of situation or data requires evaluation of a variety of factors, including an understanding of current business trends. * Follows processes and operational policies in selecting methods and techniques for obtaining solutions. * Acts as advisor to subordinate(s) to meet schedules and/or resolve technical problems. * Develops and administers schedules, performance requirements; may have budget responsibilities.
Ideal Candidate
* A Bachelor's degree in Business or related field is strongly preferred; HS Diploma with equivalent work experience will be considered * The ideal candidate will have a minimum 5 years professional sales experience with 2 years of experience in a direct sales management role. * Strong planning and execution skills, strategic thinking and judgment are essential. * Exceptional presentation skills coupled with excellent written and verbal communication skills. * Must be able to work in a fast-paced environment, meet aggressive sales objectives, and mange simultaneous activities.
