Building Robotics is looking for a Sales Executive to drive adoption of the Comfy application by Fortune 500 owner-occupiers and large commercial property owners. Comfy connects to a building’s HVAC system, and allows office occupants to directly control workplace temperature via a web and phone app. The ideal candidate will be a high-energy, driven professional with a passion for evangelizing new, game-changing technology.
- Develop a healthy sales pipeline by converting warm leads into tangible, well-qualified opportunities.
- Identify, reach, and engage key decision makers and influencers through social networking, personal connections, client references, and industry events.
- Close deals with new clients efficiently and in a quarterly sales cycle.
- Work with the Customer Success team to ensure that initial deployments are primed to meet short-term key performance indicators.
- Expand recently-signed accounts to scale through aggressive up-selling and innovative contracting arrangements.
- Travel up to 50% of the time to meet with prospects and clients face-to-face.
- You have a BA/BS from a top university and/or a MBA.
- You have a minimum of 3 years of combined inside and outside sales experience, selling SaaS, enterprise software, or building controls technology to both senior executives as well as technical buyers.
- You combine high intellectual horsepower with emotional intelligence, hustle, and strong closing skills.
- You are comfortable in a variety of sales roles, ranging from “social seller” to “consultative sales professional” to “challenger”.
- You have the ability to “land and expand” quickly, preferably in less than 3 months from initial sale.
- You have the make-up and desire to evolve into a sales leader as the company expands.
