Summary
Valmont is currently seeking a highly motivated and talented individual for a Regional Sales Representative. Valmont Site Pro 1 is a distributor of wireless communication tower components. We are looking for an aggressive, independent and highly self-motivated individual that will be responsible for managing the promotion and sales of all Valmont Site Pro 1 products within their assigned area, through their personal sales activity as well as developing, servicing, maintaining, and expanding their sales accounts.
Responsibilities
* Build relationships with various Valmont Site Pro 1 customers * Generate new business and grow sales throughout the assigned territory, thereby meeting annual set sales goals * Explain benefits of our products and services to new and current customers using all tools and resources * Provide sales reports and/or customer visit summaries for review with the National Sales Manager * Identify potential products which would be of benefit within assigned market * Collaborate with organizational internal operations and team members to ensure we are providing a fully satisfactory customer experience for our clients * Support the vision of Valmont Site Pro 1 and be a team player within the organization.
Ideal Candidate
**Required Qualifications** * High School diploma or GED equivalent * Minimum of 2 years’ experience as a Product or Sales Representative * Minimum of 2 years’ experience in a distribution of warehouse environment * Demonstrated strengths in interpersonal skills, including the ability to adapt and professionally communicate with a variety of people * Demonstrated proficiency with Microsoft Office Products, especially: Excel, Word and Outlook * The ability to travel domestically when needed * Self-starter with the demonstrated ability to use independent judgement and discretion. **Highly qualified candidates will also possess:** * BA or BS degree in sales, marketing or a related field * Prior sales experience with Wireless Infrastructure or Industrial Products * The ability to communicate and interact with internal and external customers in a positive manner * Must be a person of passion and integrity who has the drive to excel and deliver exceptional results.
