AGCO is currently seeking a Product Specialist to join our Field Sales team in Oregon. The Product Specialist will play a key part in building dealer relationships and will be responsible for increasing dealership sales through product training and support. The Product Specialist will also act as product point person for AGCO’s dealers, and will collaborate with his or her assigned sales team to explain the advantages of our products to potential customers. Additionally, the Product Specialist will provide guidance in the product sales process.
- Support dealers in planning, coordinating, and managing multiple customer demonstrations
- Develop and maintain a relationship between key end-user customers, dealers, and AGCO
- Manage individually personalized customer demonstrations which highlight and promote discussions tailored to end-user applications
- Assist with hosting and conducting open houses
- Support AGCO participation in assigned trade shows and dealer demonstrations
- Provide AGCO Marketing teams with information pertaining to new products, product improvements, product enhancements, and future end-user requirements in order to enhance sales
Required Qualifications of the Product Specialist:
- 5+ years of experience working in a sales, customer service, and/or a technical support role working at an agricultural equipment manufacturer or dealership
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office, specifically using Excel, PowerPoint, Word, and Outlook in a current or previous position
Preferred Qualifications of the Product Specialist:
- 1+ years of experience working with high horsepower (HHP) tractors or precision farming systems
- 2+ years of sales experience in a dealer-based distribution channel
Education of the Product Specialist:
- High school diploma is required; Associates degree in Agriculture is preferred

Working Conditions
Travel up to 70% is required. The Product Specialist will typically travel to Oregon, Washington, Montana, and Idaho.
