Summary
The Director, Project Marketing will coordinate marketing activities across ULI’s centers, initiatives, and programs; content produced by the National, District, and Product Council networks; as well as the brand marketing for the Institute’s four major global convenings.
Responsibilities
* Coordinating with center, initiative, and program leads to plan and deliver marketing plans. * Tracking key metrics and analyzing data to refine campaigns and improve future strategies and tactics. * Drafting, managing, and updating project plans on an ongoing basis and coordinating interdepartmental meetings as required. * Drafting marketing text for digital and print documents as required. * Managing production of marketing collateral by liaising with in-house or outsourced design functions. * Tracking budgets on individual marketing projects. * Acting as an ongoing coordinator with the content team to ensure that its conferences, events, and reports are marketed effectively, linking its requirements to the Strategic Communications and Marketing teams, Membership team, Development team, and District Councils team. * Liaising with the National, District, and Product Council networks on high-level content marketing. * Coordinating across teams and delivering brand marketing plans for ULI’s major convenings: the Fall Meeting, the Spring Meeting, the ULI Europe Conference, and the ULI Asia Pacific Summit. * Assisting on delivery of Global Brand Marketing projects.
Ideal Candidate
* Bachelor’s degree in communications/marketing or related degree. * Five or more years of relevant experience, preferably but not necessarily in the real estate and/or nonprofit sectors. Prior marketing experience either in-house or in-agency essential. * Exceptional project management skills, with meticulous attention to both detail and deadlines. * Strong communications and interpersonal skills are required to be able to work effectively with a wide range of ULI employees and members at all levels. * The Director, Project Marketing will be line-managed remotely from another ULI office, so he or she needs to be self-motivated with the ability to initiate projects and take responsibility for them. * Strong computer skills with the knowledge of standard software packages and the ability to learn new software or platforms quickly. * A keen interest in, and experience with, digital marketing is highly desirable.
