Distribution Business Systems Project Manager

The primary responsibility of this role is to use subject matter expertise of various Toyota Motor Sales vehicles’ systems in support of supply chain management objectives. Reporting to the National Vehicle Administration Manager, the person in this role will support the Distribution Operations Department’s objective by managing major distribution projects to meet current and future business needs, while insuring critical business timelines are met.

* Providing distribution subject matter expertise in leading and developing business systems’ requirements for major vehicle distribution and supply chain projects for Toyota Motor Sales * Managing overall cross organizational coordination of supply chain renewal projects and other vehicles related projects, including prioritization with all related groups throughout the company * Reviewing and approving business requirements for various Vehicle Distribution systems * Presenting, creating, and coordinating supply chain direction with various levels of management throughout the company * Negotiating with various affiliate companies in the development of business requirements for new vehicle distribution systems needed to support the future direction of the company * Overseeing testing, training and implementation of new systems and enhancements * Developing key data analytics for distribution operations * Designing and developing distribution system simulators to validate proof of concept for system enhancements and new systems

* A bachelor’s degree in business related discipline or equivalent work experience * 5+ years of experience in distribution or vehicle supply chain management * Detailed working knowledge of TMS National Vehicle System (NVS), including vehicle category flow, dealer allocation, vehicle setups, sales reporting, order change, and Dealer Pipeline Management System * Cross functional project management experience * Understanding of logical data structure to support the accuracy of data analytics * Working knowledge and experience with Vehicle Data Warehouse and development of data queries * Strong communication and negotiation skills * Proficiency in development of data analytics * Proficiency in Excel, and Brio **Preferred:** **A successful candidate may have:** * Experience as systems business analyst in automotive industry
