Ideal Candidate
* **Proven:** This role won’t be the first time you’ve led a major digital initiative for an organization. You’ve built a 15+ year career in video production and have held key leadership roles that taught you grace under pressure. You’ve kept ahead of emerging platforms and new forms of content distribution, tracking trends not out of necessity but from an insatiable curiosity for the future of your industry. You have strong creative instincts and lead with your deep experience in developing long and short-form video content and are able to anticipate the needs of an audience – not with instinct alone, but through your interpretation of data and insights. You come to the table a proven manager who has built and operated a P&L, overseen a robust video operation and shepherded creatives, technologists and strategists. * **Collaborative:** As part of a matrix organizational structure, it is essential you are highly collaborative with strong interpersonal skills and the deft ability to persuade, but also to compromise when necessary. * **A leader of people:** The people you’ve worked with would follow you anywhere. The relationships you’ve built are lasting ones – with clients, teams, CEOs, CMOs and print and digital leaders across the industry. Your collaborative spirit is felt in your communication style, whether you’re making a business case to C-level leadership in a presentation, brainstorming a big idea with a team you don’t work with every day or leading a project with your own team. Put simply: You exude executive presence and breathe new life into any initiative you take on. * **A tech enthusiast:** You don’t just say the word digital. You live it. You understand the nuances of digital video experiences, new media tools and tech opportunities in a way that’s both practical and inspiring.
