Summary
Reporting to the Publisher, the Associate Publisher of Southern Living will be responsible for advertising revenue growth, forecasting and tracking for an iconic lifestyle brand in the Time Inc. portfolio. This is a key role for a collaborative, team-focused leader prepared to lead a team of 12 sales professionals across eight markets. Working with the Publisher and marketing leadership, this sales leader will develop and implement a sales strategy across all platforms that grows both revenue and share for a brand with a dedicated, robust audience. Culture is incredibly important at our brand. The Associate Publisher will foster collaborative team relationships with people across the organization. Specific to sales – it is critical that this person understand the importance of strategy, creativity and proactive selling.
Responsibilities
* Directly manage and support an integrated sales organization * Lead revenue forecasting and estimate responsibilities * Conceive, develop and act as the lead salesperson on print and digitally integrated opportunities * Bring innovative ideas to the table for print, online and emerging platforms * Work closely with management to position Southern Living as the leader in the category * Work collaboratively across the organization to partner with brand leaders * Monitor progress of sold advertising and marketing programs to ensure delivery and client satisfaction
