Summary
Key individual contributor role in the areas of application and production support for a suite of retirement payment and taxation applications. This individual must have subject matter expertise for the enterprise level retirement payment and taxation applications and retirement industry knowledge that will be leveraged to define technical solutions to business needs. Successful candidate will work closely with other technical development and support staff (including remote and offshore partners) as well as business partners to align IT and business strategies for the future. Retirement payment and taxation application experience is paramount. Will join the Institutional IT team on the Pay & Finance team.
Responsibilities
* Ensure business and IT strategies are aligned on development projects * Exemplify behaviors that support OneIT across production support, development and testing, and IT/business partners **Internal and External “Customer” Service:** * Focus IT solutions around business functions and stakeholders in support of external clients, participants and third party partners working with peer IT teams to minimize or eliminate negative impacts to business **Cost Management:** * Align team efforts to be consistent with project, program and ongoing production support expense **Relationship Management:** * Build trusted advisor relationship by partnering across IT and business partners to best achieve business and IT priorities and objectives **Job Role Specific:** * Team member for payment and taxation application development and production support. * Provide status updates to business partners and management as required as team member and on behalf of team * Maintain compliance of standard corporate and department policies, processes and procedures including production readiness, production support, and disaster recovery and business continuity. * Collaborate with technology and business partners to seek opportunities to provide end to end production readiness and support, increase internal business partner satisfaction and ensure key deliverables and key performance metrics are met. * Lead process improvements, cost reduction efforts, tool development to improve the production support process in a way that reduces complexity, improves service, and reduces cost. * Direct and oversee problem solving and troubleshooting of software, data and interface issues; drive issues to resolution; oversee staff and project work. Support process in a way that reduces complexity, improves service, and reduces cost. * Strong ability to communicate ideas/concepts to a disperse audience of business, management and technical team members * Act as backup team lead when required for the Pay & Finance team
Ideal Candidate
* 7-10 years of experience working within institutional retirement industry in a technology role * 7-10 years of experience working in a development role with understanding of SDLC process * 7-10 years in production support role including incident and problem management * 7-10 years of payment and taxation applications in the retirement industry * Proven experience working in distributed environment with team members across various locations. * ITIL Certification desired or working knowledge/experience with the concepts (or equivalent)
