.Net Information Technology Solutions Analyst

Armstrong World Industries, Inc. (AWI) is a global producer of flooring products and ceiling systems for use in the construction and renovation of residential, commercial and institutional buildings. The Company designs, manufactures and sells flooring products (resilient and wood) and ceiling systems (mineral fiber, fiberglass and metal) globally. The Company segments includes: Building Products, Resilient Flooring and Wood Flooring.

The .NET IT Solutions Analyst is responsible for providing technical expertise and participating in and overseeing a variety of analytical and technical assignments. Additionally, the .NET IT Solutions Analyst will be involved in problems diagnosis and solutions, documentation, implementation, administration, support and maintenance on a variety of software and application components.

* Researching, analyzing, developing and documenting processes and procedures * Leading and participating in the design, development, and enhancement of business applications * Overseeing promotion of configuration and/or development changes * Leading and participating in requirements gathering * Managing and coordinating various sizes of systems or business projects * Developing and managing relationships with vendors * Participating in the development, implementation and maintenance of best-practice standards, policies, procedures, and training plans * Providing integrated systems planning * Leading multiple projects managing resources and monitoring progress * Establishing and maintaining lines of communication with stakeholders * Identifying opportunities to improve global standardization and organizational efficiencies * Serving as a point of escalation for team member issues * Assisting in the development of IT budgets (expense and capital) and estimates * Providing in-depth technical consultation to clients and IT management * Assisting in the recruitment and selection of project resources as required * Working collaboratively with management to identify and prioritize projects * Researching and evaluating new and/or alternative solutions and technologies * Assisting in the creation and maintenance of multi-year functional roadmaps * Contributing to the development of overall strategy, tactics, planning and execution of initiatives to support IT services * Documenting necessary technical design and analysis work * Maintaining application documentation and process topology to ensure alignment between the business strategies and the technology roadmap

**Required Qualifications for the .NET IT Solutions Analyst:** * Bachelor's degree or equivalent combination of education and experience in Computer Science, Engineering or a related field * 3+ years of technical analysis or process management * Demonstrated experience in .NET Framework * Working knowledge and experience with Microsoft Office products * Broad technical grasp of application architecture **Desired Qualifications for the .NET IT Solutions Analyst:** * Previous experience in application architecture within manufacturing * Certification in either a process discipline (ITIL, PMI, Six Sigma) or technical discipline (SAP, Data Warehousing)
